I’ve noticed things have changed so much. People used to appreciate the ‘female form’, skinny girls and curvy girls were ‘in’ if they had boobs and hips and everything classed as ‘feminine’. Then, all of a sudden, it became a sport to critique on other people’s bodies. Magazine’s made money by pointing out that Britney Spears looked fatter in a bikini than she did last year, or Katie Holmes had lost TOO much weight and looked withered. They did this in a bid to make the individual reading it feel marginally better about their own bodies or, worse and therefore buy into the lie that a woman’s body deserves to have every inch scrutinised by strangers. Only recently though, there’s been a rise in the ‘I hate my OWN body’ craze. The media don’t need to report on other people because we’re all so self absorbed that all we see is ours. We’ve all given into this lie. Comparisons are being made all the time and it’s just not fair because your body is your body and it’s never going to be the same as her body.
This doesn’t even make sense but you know, nights are there for thinking

As a woman I feel offended that cunt is such a taboo word. Some people treat it like it should never be spoken in any context. That’s wrong though. You can’t just remove a word from the English language like that, it does exist, and people do use it. It’s not deemed as a rude word for any reason other than what it means - vagina - and why should we accept that that makes it such an offensive word? I understand that words change and that to call someone a cunt means it’s clearly being used in an offensive way, but what about using it in its original context. We shouldn’t be scared of it, it’s just a word. When I went to the Vagina Monologues they made everyone in the audience face their fears and shout the word ‘cunt’. It was so liberating, honestly.
When I was younger I watched a programmes about mistreated animals in the wildlife. The lady presenter was in another country, possibly India, where elephants were used to transport goods. They were treated so badly and they were whipped and tired up with chains and didn’t get to eat or drink when they needed it. When the presenter was talking the camera was put onto the elephant’s face, and it cried. That one single tear was one of the most memorable things I’ve ever seen on TV. I don’t even remember what programme it was, why I was watching it, or anything else about it but I have such a vivid image of that elephant crying. That, topped with watching Dumbo, gave me such a weakness for elephants.
Him and his girlfriend had an argument and he loves her so much and they were going to book a holiday today <3 she looks like Kim Kardashian only hotter (!) but I’ve not seen her yet. I’ve lost my stalk a bit!
i wish people didn’t beat around the bush. like, if you want something, ask for it. if you think someones attractive and want to get to know them, tell them. if you want to know something about them, ask them. if you disagree with something, explain why (without being an arsehole), if you want to tell someone something, TELL THEM. it would make things so much easier man stop acting like children.
